The following video was taken at one of my recent group classes, which are held weekly for all my private Suzuki students. In the video, I explain what we typically do in the class and the value of students participating in the group class.
This is a clip from the Suzuki in Spring Workshop on the Sunshine Coast where I taught a fiddle course. This tune, Wizard’s Walk, was by far the kids’ favourite. It was a huge hit!
The following video clips were taped at the farewell recital that Christine Dunaway’s students put on for her on June 7, 2009.
Sophia, age 10, started the violin with Christine at age 6.
Samantha, age 10, started the violin with Christine at age 6.
Audrey, age 13, started the violin with Christine at age 8.
Rolanda, age 11, started lessons with Christine at age 7, and started violin at age 5.
(I apologize about the camera angle on this one!)
These video clips are taken from Zach’s first solo recital, where he played every piece in Suzuki Book 1. Here, he plays Minuet 2 & 3 from the Suzuki violin literature. He was 5 when this was taken in March ’09, and had studied with Christine Dunaway for two years.
